Our sessions will begin by building a hierarchy of your feared situations, ranking them from least feared to most feared.  We will identify and tackle the underlying thoughts and beliefs that are causing your fear and phobia, and I will help you to learn new, more helpful ways to cope with your fears and the difficult thoughts and feelings you experience.

We will use hypnosis to allow you to rehearse the skills you’ve learned whilst imagining a feared situation, starting with the least fearful, and gradually working up your fear hierarchy.   This enables you to practice those skills safely and effectively in your imagination before trying them out for real.   As you successfully overcome each feared situation, you will find it easier and easier to tackle the situations you previously found most fearful.
