Calmer Menopause is the 6-session programme designed for those who are ready to let go of stress and anxiety, boost their confidence, and create a fabulous midlife and beyond.

The hormonal fluctuations of perimenopause through to post-menopause can contribute to many symptoms, including anxiety, mood swings, hot flushes, poor sleep, brain fog, loss of confidence, and weight gain, whilst dealing with the symptoms of menopause can also cause increased stress and anxiety. It becomes a vicious circle.

Additionally, operating in a constant state of stress has become the norm for many midlife women as they juggle families, careers, health, finances, friends, and so on. But when we’re constantly operating in this fight/flight/freeze/fawn mode, our nervous systems become out of balance and the bloodstream becomes flooded with the stress hormone cortisol. Your sleep may suffer, you may crave chocolate, you may be unable to shift that ‘muffin top,’ and your mind may whir with constant worries.

The production and functioning of other essential hormones is impacted, making other peri/menopause symptoms worse, adding yet more stress into the mix.

Maybe you think you just have to put up with this - it’s part of getting older, it’s just the way life is, it’s your hormones and you’ve no control!

It doesn’t have to be this way though and I’m really passionate that women start to say ‘Enough is enough!’ That they realise that they can take control of their stress and anxiety, support their own healthy hormone functioning, regain their confidence and set themselves up for a fabulous midlife and beyond.

  • Recognise what is going on for you. Understand what’s going on in your mind and body and the connection between stress/anxiety and the menopause. Learn the foundations for re-establishing balance in your nervous system.

  • Release yourself from the stress, anxiety and overwhelm. Gain powerful tools to allow you to feel calm, confident, and in control, and let go of the struggle with anxiety.

  • Rebalance your moods and emotions. Be able to approach this phase of your life with greater self-compassion, self-acceptance and knowing that you are good enough.

  • Rebuild. With a vision of what is important to you on your midlife journey, you’ll learn how to build and embed healthy habits into your daily life that will support you on that journey so that you can live your life on your terms.

With the gentle support, understanding and encouragement that you need during this challenging time, each week will allow you the space to experience deep relaxation, self-discovery, self-compassion and self-acceptance.

The Calmer Menopause programme

1-2-1 Programme

The 1-2-1 programme includes 1x1.5 hour session and 5x1 hour sessions which can be taken at a time convenient to you and will be online via Zoom or in person at my clinic in the heart of Warrington. The sessions will be personalised to your specific needs.

At each session you will:

  • develop your understanding of stress, anxiety and the peri/menopause.

  • have an opportunity for questions and answers.

  • get evidence-based tools and techniques to help you manage and deal with stress and anxiety.

  • experience a hypnosis, relaxation or mindfulness exercise designed to move you from stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed to calm, confident and excited about your life.

Bonuses

  • Recording from each session of the hypnosis/relaxation/mindfulness exercise for you to listen to as often as you want.

  • Handouts from each session.
