Hi, I’m Pauline and I specialise in helping busy midlife people to get unstuck so that they can say ‘goodbye’ to stress, anxiety, and worry, and have the clarity and self-belief to live a life they love.
The demands of midlife can feel overwhelming, especially when you add into the mix the hormonal changes associated with perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause.

Why Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy?
Not all hypnotherapy is the same. Through the integration of highly effective cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), hypnosis and mindfulness-based approaches, I am able to help clients identify the patterns of thoughts, emotions and actions that are keeping them stuck, and then work with them to break out of these unhelpful patterns so that they can achieve rapid and long-lasting change. The psycho therapeutic techniques I use are evidence-based, meaning there is robust scientific evidence supporting their efficacy, and are backed by the latest neuroscience research.

What are the benefits of hypnotherapy?
It is proven to be effective in treating many different issues - (stress, pain, phobias, public speaking, social anxiety, sleep problems, confidence, habit change, self-esteem, anxiety, weight management, hot flushes).
It often involves deep relaxation making it a very pleasurable experience (although is can also be used to generate feelings of energy, excitement, and motivation).
It enables you to ‘reprogramme’ your mind so that you think, feel, and act differently.
It is a fast and effective form of psychotherapy.
The use of hypnosis recordings and self-hypnosis means the benefits can continue beyond the therapy sessions.
Based in Warrington, Cheshire, I work online with clients from across the UK and also offer face-to-face appointments at 19 Wilson Patten Street, Warrington, WA1 1PG.
I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy which is accredited by the British Psychological Society, the National Council for Hypnotherapy, the General Hypnotherapy Register and the Register for Evidence-Based Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. I am registered with the GHR (reg. no. 9221) and abide by their strict code of ethics. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
